Here is my Cannon sculpture. It incorporates a lot of wood elements, but the main cannon is all metal. I tried to go semi-realistic with it and added a lot of texture and a little bit of embellishment on the cannon. It will probably look better with textures applied.
I love your wood detail. My only thing for you is when I stared at the barrel for a long time to see those engravings I would oversculpt them and make them a bit more intense just so they're really noticeable.
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing and super detailed!! I'd only say the alpha on the actual cannon is a bit hard to see so I'd just suggest making that pop out a bit more.
ReplyDeleteNice work. Push u alphas a little bit more. Wood kinda seems like a combination of wood grain texture and beaten metal which is kinda making my head spin. Not sure if it's deliberate.
ReplyDeleteThe wood on the base looks a little wavyyyyyyy..... the cannon itself looks amazing. The wood planks also don't go all the way around
ReplyDeleteI think the cannon came out really well! I do think the edges of the base look a bit too destructed.
ReplyDeleteThe ornate details look nice on the cannon barrel! That's the first thing my eyes looked to. What looks like warping to me on the wood on the base looks a little off, but the grain detail is good. Some of the edges for the metal outlining is a little sharp compared to how soft some of the other edges are. Otherwise, looks good!
ReplyDeleteHi Noa! Your sculpt looks wonderful and the detail you put into it is nicely intricate! At the moment, I feel like the base and cannon stand out a little too much from one another. I recommend increasing the damage on the barrel to match the damage on the base a little more, or vice versa.
ReplyDeleteHey Noa, I really love the high fidelity for the cannon and barrel. I think all that edge flow and wear is so sharp and realistic. I think you really nailed your sculpt, the one thing that I saw is that your wood base is a little warped but aside from that, I really love your sculpt!
