Cannon Project Week 2

 


This week I added more details to my mesh and made it align closer to my reference images.
Below you can see my 3D model aligned over a reference image. There are some small differences because of focal length and some other things I couldn't quite match, so I took some small liberties to make it look better.

Common Art VR Project Part 1

 







For this first week, I worked on some props, the environment proxy, and the hands. I modeled and skinned the proxy Mario hands, then gave them to Brian for animation in Maya. I made the powerup mushroom prop, as well as the question block and piranha plant proxy models. I proxied the environment using Brian's floorplan and concept art, and Eric's floor template as bases to build on. The video shows everything I made (however, Jessie made the bob-omb, Lakitu, coin, and fire flower, and Eric made the brick block, and Toad).

3D Art assignment: Unreal Barrel Scene

 






This is my scene from last week translated into Unreal. Some of the assets are still white boxed, but the majority of the structure is in a finished state.
